Farming=Good
Ok... so u think u got a good build? U think u know the best spot to farm? Well put it to the test. I want everyone to post there Farming info. So I guess im up to the plate. Here we go:
Ok this build is for W/Mo (this is the most popular build so im sure it wil help many)
Skills:
WARRIOR:
Sprint: For a little extra speed here and there. (esaly replaced)
Cyclone Axe: This may not seem like much but it does an ok amnt of dmg. and with this build can save your life.
Executioner's Strike: This skill is for pure dmg. so u can get on with farming faster.
Penetrating Blow: same as Strike. Do some dmg. and get on with it.
Bonetti's Def: This will get you the energy you need to maintain this build.
MONK:
Vigorous Spirit: Cast this and you will get healed every time u hit. Good with cyclone.
Live Vicariously: Basicly +10 heath when your hit! very very helpfull. Only prblem -1 energy reg. :/
Mending: Ok this is where Bonetti's comes in. This is going to take another -1 energy reg. Now your down to none... to pull the skills u have to use Bonetti's, good thing its an adrenalin skill... few
Stats:
Healing:10
Strenght: 5 (4+Helm)
Axe:15 (12+sup rune)
Points spent:168
Unspent:2
Ok now ur thinking cool! Now i have a build that i can use to farm... yesss.... but... um how do i use it? Well this is what i do:
Right off the bat i cast mend and Live Vicariously (LV). So now u have 5 energy left and no reg. I head out of Augry Rock to go get some Griffons.. to bad i dont know wich way to go... plz post that . Right befor i get into a fight i cast Vigorus Spirit. So the fight starts. You gain adrenalin for each hit and u get to 8 so u can cast bonettis again. Now i would hold off for a while because VS does last for 30 seconds wich is rather long... so use your dmg. dealing attacks. then when you notice VS is blinking, about to stop, cast Bonetti's again. You should get from 5-20 energy from this. Just cast it again and u should never die.
So theres a full guide to my build. Its pretty nice. Plz post yours and any improvments on mine. Thxs

I take an axe elite (cleave or eviscerate) and take either vigorous or LV, not both. Prefer vigorous as that still leaves me one pip of energy regen. Drop healing to 8 (+3 mending) 15 axe, bring strength up as high as possible and put the rest in tactics (only used for bonetti's) and use a strength req. shield.
Favorite place to farm: ettins in NKP

First off, it's gonna take you ages to kill things with that build, and it sounds like you're fighting only a small group at a time. You've got the basic idea, but try this instead:
Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defence
Shield of Judgement {E} (my favourite) OR Gladiator's Defence {E}
Zealot's Fire OR Executioner's Strike (best not to waste points on smiting if you're not using SoJ)
Vig Spirit
Live Vicariously
Mending
Healing Breeze
Attribute setup would be:
Healing 8 (there's no point going higher really, you just want those 3 pips in mending)
Smiting 12 (PAIN)
Strength 1+1 (you have 1 spare point, might as well put it to use)
Axe Mastery 8+3 (superior rune)
Tactics 6+1+1 (minor rune and ascalon helm)
Armour: I can't stress this enough WEAR GLADIATOR'S ARMOUR. You'll really need the extra energy, and all the enemies you're fighting use physical attacks so glad's has the highest defence anyway. Personally I wear the full set + ascalon helm. I depending on the req of your shield, you may need to put extra points in tactics, or even get away with taking one off.
With this build you can easily fight any number of griffons (just try to gather as many as you can in one go for most efficient farming). You should always have mending and live vicariously on, cast them as soon as you leave town. Gather up a bunch of griffs, hit vig spirit, wait for them to cluster around you then use cyclone axe and bonetti's immediately after. Wait until cyclone axe is almost recharged, then cast zealot's fire, healing breeze, cyclone axe, bonetti's in quick succession. Wait for energy to regen, then cast Shield of Judgement. Try not to use bonetti's while SoJ is going, as the enemies need to hit you in order to take damage. During this period healing breeze should keep your health up, but keep an eye on it, recast if it wears, and if your hp goes below about 300, hit a cyclone axe (the combined effect of vig spirit and LV should put you right back up to full). If you're out of energy for another cyclone, and your hp goes below about 250, just hit bonetti's, usually SoJ will have worn by this time anyway. Rinse and repeat. Don't forget to keep vig spirit up all the time, and it doesn't hurt to maintain breeze either. Oh, and try to always be attacking something the whole time, as you'll slowly regain hp from vig spirit and LV, and a bit of extra adrenaline just in case cyclone doesn't fully charge bonettis.
I've tried just about every combination I can think of for farming griffons, and I've yet to find anything faster than this (with a warrior primary, anyway). Of course, if anyone thinks they have better, I'd be interested to hear it

Oh dear, another "omg look at my awesome farming character lol it pwns urs!" thread, this certainly is not getting old. Good work on your effort to find new ways to kill stuff, but that does not mean you have to start a new thread about it. Farming threads take up about 90% of this fourm's space, please use one of them instead of making a pointless brag thread.

This is the build I use, was taught to me by a friend:
W/E
12 earth
16 tactics
Cyclone Axe (just for gathering adrenaline)
Healing Signet
Bonetti's Defense
"Watch Yourself!"
Gladiator's Defense *E*
Defensive Stance
Armor of Earth
Aftershock
Gather up as many as possible*, and slap up Armor of Earth (+53 armor). As soon as they're around, activate Glad's Defense, and use Cyclone Axe - Watch Yourself should be charged by now.
*while gathering, you can use Defensive Stance to avoid the attacks on your back. Also, while fighting a huge mob, you can use defensive stance in order to use healing signet "safely" - once.
Heal as needed with signet, and use Cyclone once again to charge Bonetti if it's not yet charged - but ALWAYS use Watch Yourself before using the signet.
As soon as Gladiator's Defense is over, use Aftershock, wait about 2 seconds and use Bonetti's. When you're full again, recast Armor of earth (if you can do it before Bonetti's is over, better because there's a chance you'll get hit and have full energy even after casting AoE). Repeat as needed.
It isn't ultra fast, but it's pretty good, and safe even if you gather the whole map of griffons on you.

Is it really that hard to spell "you're" or "your"?
If English isn't your native language, I can understand, but I'm betting it is... well, I'm betting that supposedly it is anyway.
Sorry, anyway, on-topic I have made 100k in the past week or so farming with a regular trapper build, in the desert. Oh and I work full-time, so total play time for that 100k is around I'm guessing 25 hours.

Please, no sarcastic comments or boasting about farming bigger baddies than griffons. It isn't helpful for the forums or the people posting on them. They just want advice on the build, positive or negative, (though no doubt they prefer the positive) and some tips to improve it.

I'm not trying to be a dick... it's just that there used to be rules in these forums that if you are going to go to the trouble of posting, at the very least use a recognized language. I mean, is it really that hard to type "you" instead of "U"? This isn't an AOL chatroom, after all.
